It’s up to you to save the Earth - it's up to you, it's up to me and it's up to every other person around us. It's not that difficult, either, if everyone does their part. How, you ask? By helping bring about the positive changes that will protect this place we call home.
Join more than one billion people in over 192 countries who are celebrating Earth Day today - 22 April 2013 - and pledge to make a difference. Being aware of your carbon footprint is a great place to start when it comes to protecting your environment. Help Take Back Tomorrow and ensure a sustainable future by pledging to recycle - everything from paper and plastic to that old printer you need to replace can be safely and responsibly recycled if you do a little research. You will no doubt find a recycling depot in your area or find a company who will collect it from your home or office.
Don’t forget to dispose of your old energy efficient light bulbs and lithium batteries in the specially marked boxes at your local Woolworths or Pick 'n Pay stores. Log on to earthday.org to learn more about the way climate change is affecting the earth and to find more ways of making a difference.
Any positive gesture can make the world of difference. Let's not forget this... it’s up to you (and me) to save the Earth.
